The BORÉALDESIGN warranty

Kayaks

Kayaks are guaranteed for two years from their date of purchase. The warranty covers material or manufacturing defects. Coverage is transferable, but does not apply to breakage caused by improper use, modification, neglect or damage sustained during transportation. Our Customer Service Department is at your disposal even after your warranty expires.

A User Guide, in the form of a CD, is included with each BORÉALDESIGN kayak. A complete version of this guide may be found on our website, under the «User Services» section. There are also printable lists that are most useful when preparing excursions. Plans and specifications are also included, along with drawings of practical knots, safety tips, advice on how to transport your kayak and more!

Paddles, Clothing and Accessories

BORÉALDESIGN offers a complete one year warranty to the original purchaser. If a product is marred by a manufacturing defect, the purchaser may return it via his or her dealer or directly to BORÉALDESIGN for repair or replacement. If an item is torn or worn through use, BORÉALDESIGN offers repair services at very reasonable costs. Only latex gaskets are not covered by warranty. Latex gaskets must be maintained regularly every four to six weeks with   Protector 303, even during the off-season, to prevent the latex from drying out and cracking.
